Alex C. Wilson is a SWFL based Writer, Certified Yoga Instructor and Ayurveda Yoga Specialist who is dedicated to helping others establish a strong sense of mental and emotional wellbeing. Always a compassionate human being eager to help those in need, Alex has spent much of her life dedicated to helping people find happiness and peace of mind. By the time she graduated from college, however, she was all but depleted, and began struggling to find her own sense of happiness and peace of mind. Anxiety became a fixture in her everyday life, and all at once she realized that she no longer knew who she was. Then, in 2012, she found yoga. Slowly, but surely, Alex started to get her life back. Fascinated by the effects that this practice had on her own mental and emotional health, Alex made the decision to spend a few years, dedicated to the study of yoga. She received her RYT 200 in 2016, her AYS in 2018, and by the Summer of 2020, she will have completed an additional 300 hours of Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. After spending much of her life in a state of depletion as a result of being fully dedicated to others, Yoga taught Alex how to first, be dedicated to herself. Now she spends her time helping others create more space for their own healing and self-discovery without ever letting her own cup become empty in the process. Alex teaches 5 yoga classes a week at local studio in her hometown, produces content related to yoga, self-discovery and healing for her website, helps clients find better mental and emotional well-being through one-on-one Yoga and Ayurveda coaching sessions, and shares the messages of Yoga and Ayurveda through her writing on Omstars.com.
