Restorative Yoga is a healing practice designed to deeply relax the nervous system and body. The para-sympathetic nervous system/relaxation response is up regulated through the use of conscious breath and rest. We use pillows, blankets and straps to assist the body in being supported through the longer holds. The benefits are a calm mind, supple body and overall well-being. Linda took her first yoga class over 20 years ago and instantly became fascinated with the human body and mind. She believes in the power of Yoga & Conscious breath to bridge the disconnect occurring in modern society. This lead to her commitment to dedicate her life to sharing practices that have transformed her life. She took her first 200 Hour Yoga training in 2014 in Miami, then soon after decided that she wanted to go deeper. She traveled to India in 2016 and completed her 300 Hour training with Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, India. She has trained in Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative and Kriya Yoga.
