After years of teaching, Emilia fulfilled her long-awaited dream of visiting Mysore, India where she studied under the supervision of R. Sharath Jois. Emilia teaches the morning Mysore program and is a devoted teacher at Miami Life Center. Emilia believes yoga is a long journey that needs to be taken with love, dispassion and relentless discipline. Years ago, while searching for a connecting path to a calmer and more spiritual lifestyle, Emilia was fortunate to have her mother take her to a yoga class. Soon afterwards yoga became not only the direct conversation that she was seeking but also a gateway to a wholesome lifestyle and more compassionate approach to herself and others.
