Savvas Giantsis is the owner and founder of the House of yoga since 2007. After many years of experience in the field of sports and fitness he’s been practicing Yoga since 2000 , after training in Vinyasa Yoga taught by John Tomayo, at the famous Atmananta Yoga studio, where he worked for 2 years, as well as at other studios and gyms in New York. He attended Vinyasa flow classes for five months , in Los Angeles. Then for the next 2 years he stayed close to Dharma Mittra in NY. who was an inspiration for his courses.. In 2005 he makes his first trip to Mysore in India to be trained in the system of Ashtanga by its founder Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy , a destination which he tries to visit every year. In parallel, to this day he has lessons with many teachers abroad and in Greece. Savvas is Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS) – House of Yoga. House of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete a verified training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).
