In this class, Monica will guide you to explore your body and mind’s limits when taking it through a range of diverse movement patterns and drills, creating the opportunity for you to thrive as you explore new possibilities. You can expect to be challenged as you flow through a balancing act between strength and flexibility, incorporating active and passive stretches, along with some strength-based poses to build your stamina and resilience from within. This class is accessible for all levels, two blocks and a bolster are recommended.

Monica Arellano is a student of Ashtanga Yoga and meditation practices. She began teaching after receiving the formal blessing from her teacher R. Sharath Jois in Mysore, India. She first connected to the practice of yoga in 2010, looking for a more peaceful way of being. Monica completed a 2 year apprenticeship program at Miami Life Center in 2018 under Kino MacGregor. More recently she completed a yearlong philosophy immersion with Ty Landrum and a month long teacher’s intensive with Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor.
