Playing Bach and standing on your head are the same: both allow you to see the world from a different perspective. Music and yoga are my two passions, and although they may seem like two different journeys, I believe they both help us connect to ourselves and others, sharing love along the way and bringing people together. I am a classical pianist currently based in London. I’m half Italian and half Australian - perhaps shifting hemispheres is another reason I like being upside down. I studied in Florence at the Conservatoire of Music for 10 years, before moving to London for a masters degree and Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have given concerts throughout Europe, the US, Australia and Japan, and in 2020, countless performances in my room for my houseplants! Alongside my time spent at the piano, I practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and consider it an integral part of my work. Now I am taking my first steps as a yoga teacher, grateful to share what I learn, and committed to being a student first. For me, Yoga is self-discovery, a search for unity, and an inquiry into the meaning of freedom. Just like music.
