In this workshop with renown yoga expert and contortionist, Irene Pappas, students will be guided through a full body warm up, strength and conditioning exercises, flexibility work, and pose breakdown. For students who don’t consider themselves naturally flexible, this workshop presents a fantastic opportunity to learn some new techniques to increase flexibility and to go deeper into the practice. Practitioners who consider themselves naturally flexible or even hyper-mobile, will benefit from learning how to backbend from a place of stability in order to prevent injury while continuing to expand on their range of movement. This one-of-a-kind experience offers options and suggestions that cater to many different body types, however, this workshop may not be suitable for those who are totally new to yoga and movement practices.
